Serving Children & Families in West Fargo, Fargo, Dilworth, and Moorhead

What is Early Intervention?

Evaluations  •  Service Coordination/Case Management  •  Speech Therapy
Physical Therapy  •  Occupational Therapy  •  Individualized Support
Specialized Instruction & Family Training  •  Community Integration

Early Intervention provides support for children ages 0-3 who are experiencing delays in their communication, cognitive, or physical development.

Rather than waiting to see if your child "catches up", early intervention actively supports their development right away, helping them build essential skills during this critical period of their development.

At Myna Early Intervention, we are committed to giving your child the best chance to reach their full potential by addressing challenges early on instead of waiting.

Setting the Stage for Future Skill Development & Success

Early Intervention helps your child grow by focusing on important skills like:

  • Helping your child communicate, understand words, and express themselves through speech or other ways.

  • Building skills like crawling, walking, holding things, and playing with toys to improve coordination and strength.

  • Encouraging problem-solving, paying attention, and exploring new ideas to help your child’s brain grow.

  • Supporting your child in understanding emotions, making friends, and feeling secure in different situations.

The Myna Early Intervention Approach to Working with Your Child & Family

The Myna approach to Early Intervention is grounded in a family-centered and collaborative model. We believe in working closely with parents and caregivers to empower them with the knowledge and skills to support their child's development. Parent coaching is a key component of our approach, as we strive to provide guidance, resources, and strategies that parents can incorporate into their daily routines.

We value building strong relationships with families, as we believe that open communication and collaboration are essential for the success of early intervention services. By working together as a team, we can create a supportive environment that fosters the child's growth and progress.

We also emphasize a play-based approach, as play is crucial for children's learning and development. Through play, children can explore, experiment, and practice important skills in a natural and enjoyable way. We aim to create fun and engaging activities that target specific developmental goals while promoting the child's overall well-being.
